Steelgage
- Ultrasonic Thickness Gage
The
STEELGAGE is a low-cost ultrasonic thickness gage which is pre-calibratad
for measurement on carbon steels. Microprocessor control combines ease-of-use
with stable and accurate measurements. The STEELGAGE retains the last
reading after switch-off. A coupling indicator and low battery warning
are shown on the liquid crystal display. The transducer is placed on the
zero block with a dab of suitable couplant. The zero key is then pressed
arid "- - -" display indicates the instrument is ready for use.

The
standard SG1 is a 5.0MHz transducer with integral cable. Measurement
range is 1.0mm (0.05") to 155 mm (6.00"). Contact diameter
is 9rnm {0.375"). Also available with microdot connectors (Part
no.SG1D)

- Power (1/2") - SG2
The SG2 is 2.5 MHz transducer with integral cable. Measurement range
is 5.0mm (0.20") to 199.9 mm (10.00"). Contact diameter is
15 mm (0.60"). For use on attenuative or coarse-grained material.
Also available with mocrodot connectors (Part No.SG2D)
