Sonagage II - ULTRASONIC THICKNESS GAGE

The Sonagage II is a low-cost Ultra sonic Thickness Gage combining ease of use with advanced features and capabilities. Resolution is 0.01rnm (0.001"), allowing accurate measurement of thin sections, and the gage retains last reading and current calibration after switch-oft. There is a coupling indicator on the LCD and a low battery warning is also incorporated. For difficult applications, an externally-accessible gain adjustment control is a valuable feature. An "inchfrnm° button allows instant switching between English / Metric measurement. Calibration is very easy. The transducer is placed on the built-An zero black, and the "CAL' key is pressed, The I and 1, keys adjust the instrument ta the zero--block thickness of 8.35mm (0.250"). The same procedure can be used for any other appropriate sample of known thickness. The Sonagage II is also compatible with many other manufacturers' transducers.

General Purpose (1/3") SG-1

The Standard SG1 is a 5.0MHz transducer with integral cable. Measurement range is1.00mm (0.040") to 155mm(6.000"). Contact: diameter is 9rnm (0.375"). Also available with microdot connectors (part number - SG1D) or1/3" version (Past no. SG4)

A full range of transducers is available far the Sonagage II- Most transducers feature 8 choice of integral cable, microdot or subvis connectors. The Lo-Range transducer enables measurements to a minimum of 0.75mirn (0.030"} in steel, and the Hi-Temp transducers feature teflon coated cable. In addition to standard transducers a range of specials are available, including 10MHz versions (ideal for measurements on aluminum). In line with our policy of rninimising Iife-cycle costs of cur prod uctsr a transducer repair service is offered. This reduces the cost of replacements significantly.
