Bridge Style CMM - Ultima

Based upon the highly successful and reliable LK G-90C, the Ultima presents an enhanced design featuring a unique 'I' section bonded ceramic beam. The table option range start from 2000mm x 2000mm x 1200mm and increases to 3000mm x 2500mm x 2000mm. The twin rail version starts from 2000mm x 2000mm x 1200mm and increases to 4000mm x 4000mm x 3000mm. All of these machines offer extended table/rail lengths in excess of 10m. The Ultima range of large machine sizes present high accuracy at affordable prices.

The Ultima range of large bridge style CMMs offers two machine styles, both of which are based around a common modular design concept providing a highly reliable and easily maintainable system across all machine sizes. With volumes up to 10m long and bridge sizes up to 4m x 3m, the Ultima will cater for your large and heavy components without the need for a specialist solution.

Construction of all machines is based around the innovative use of advanced materials technology. Ceramic provides both rigid and thermally stable 'I' section bridge and quill sections (four times more thermally stable than competitors' aluminum structures) whilst granite provides the base of the system in either a table or rail format.

The Ultima range supports a variety of probing solutions including touch-trigger digital, continuous-contact analogue and laser options, all fully interchangeable to facilitate the measurement of geometric and free-form components.
