Floor Model Melting Tanks (Choose from custom or standard size) ![]() No heat transfer oil is required. This eliminates objectionable hot oil odors and costly maintenance. Our cast aluminum block heating elements secured directly to the melting tanks assures even heat distribution and exceptionally long life. All controls are easily accessible with removable access panels. Comfortable working height of 36 inches as well as 3 inches of thick insulated wall construction are standard. Included are safety features of a secondary over temperature thermostat and a 1 1/2" drain valve. Available as options are: time clocks, electronic temperature readout controls, pre-melt section, and an energy saving high/low heat switch. On large floor model melting tanks, circulating units are recommended to transfer heat from the walls of the tank to the center. Circulating units prevent overheating, thick coatings, long meltdown time, and floating film. |
