This Brinell tester uses a load cell for measuring test forces, providing an efficient, low cost means of Brinell hardness testing and is perfectly suited for laboratory or shop environments. Simple, easy to operate with high accuracy.  

The PH and PHL are fast, accurate, testing machines designed to withstand the most severe conditions. These testers come standard with one test load, or may be ordered with a multi-load system.

pH

The pH is ideal for the testing of many identical specimens. This tester has a maximum piston travel of 7/16"

PHL

The PHL is ideal for the testing of large or heavy specimens (castings, forgings, or pipe). This tester has a maximum piston travel of 18" or 24"

Vicker type indenters are in the form of a square base pyramid with an angle of 136° between faces. Knoop type indenters are a pyramidal form, with a 172° longitudinal angle - 130° included transverse angle, and produces a diamond shaped indentation.
