DESCRIPTION:

EPF is an all purpose neo- synthetic fluid that will machine cast iron, steel and aluminum.This super advanced formula contains extreme pressure and polymeric additives which exhibit outstanding machining performance regardless of the severity of the operation. This fluid is designed to be environmentally safe, operator friendly, and non-fIammable.

LUBRICATING FUNCTION:

Oil is the best lubricant known, especially when it contains selected high temperature and extreme pressure lubricants that are chemically active. In developing EPF, these criteria were applied to develop a solution that yields the benefits of a soluble oil, (film boundry), and maintains the
characteristics of a synthetic. Therefore, as speed and feed rates increase, specially formulated high temperature and extreme pressure lubricants give EPF outstanding machining characteristics which corresponds directly to optimal equipment and tooling performance.

CORROSION PROTECTION:

EPF provides excellent protection against electronic corrosion typically experienced in iron-copper or iron-aluminum conductivity environments.

PRODUCT SAFETY:

None of the materials used in Precision Fluids products are listed as carcinogenic or potential carcinogens by IARC. Refer to Precision Fluids Material Safety Data Sheet for additional information about this product

BIOLOGICAL CONTROL:

EPF will not support the growth of bacteria or fungi. Removal of tramp oils will greatly extend sump life .
