The third generation External Supermicrometer provides durability, digital accuracy, speed of measurement, and range of applications. The Super Micrometer comes in four models of varying length capacities. Custom Super Micrometers of up to a 40 in. (1000 mm) measuring range are available upon request.

• Calibrated analog meter – Establishes the reference zero for taking direct measurements from the microprocessor-based digital display
• Digital module – Divides the measurement into 0.25 um (0.000010 in.) increments for high resolution
• GageCal PC control software – Microsoft Windows based software reduces data entry, eliminates transcription errors, and speeds up measurements for your Pratt Whitney Labmaster. GageCal automatically enters tolerances for gage blocks, plugs, pins, balls, threads (calculates pitch/major diameter) and flags out-of-tolerance conditions.

External Supermicrometer Retrofits and Upgrades

Pratt & Whitney measurement instruments are designed to provide years of dependable operation, however your measurement requirements may change. Pratt & Whitney offers rebuild and retrofit programs to update older Model ‘B’ Supermicrometers (B250- U302526) to the current Model ‘C’ Supermicrometer (UPG-SM). All components are evaluated and replaced as required or remanufactured to new condition.
Pratt Whitney bench Super Micrometer models include: TG2103, G2103, TG2100, TG2100, TG2102, G2102, TG2101, G2101, 2103, 2100, 2102, 2101. Based on the gage and model, an old bench Super Micrometer might not be upgrade ready. In these cases, please inquire about our trade-in program towards the purchase of a new bench Super Micrometer.
