With the growing trend of clean room manufacturing, the need for torque tools that meet stringent cleanliness requirements has increased. Responding to this manufacturing need, Mountz offers Clean Room Screwdrivers.

The tools are manufactured to comply with Class 100 Clean Room standards and are polished and sealed with PTFE impregnated, anodized coating that creates a tool nearly 40 times as clean as ``off the shelf" torque tools.

The Clean Room Screwdrivers have corrosion resistant external components and specially developed smooth skin seals to prevent the transportation of any contaminants into the clean room. The seal also allows the screwdrivers to be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol or other recommended clean room cleaning agents. Specially prepared micro filtered grease is used to lubricate the internal mechanism. The Clean Room Screwdrivers offer ranges from 3 ozf.in to 36 lbf.in and are available in three models to suit specific applications
