     The IFR screwdrivers have the similar look of the TLS screwdrivers but feature a unique design that allows the screwdrivers to be "impact free," which eliminates shock being transferred to the application.  The IFR screwdrivers are ideal for assembly with sensitive components.  The IFR screwdrivers are available in four different colors and with ranges from 3 ozf.in. to 120 lbf.in.

     The IFR screwdrivers can be requested in either clockwise or counterclockwise models and are available with either a 1/4" female hex drive or a 1/4" male square drive. The IFR torque screwdrivers can be clean room modified to meet class 100 standards as well.  For medical applications an autoclave version of the IFR torque screwdrivers is available.
  • Designed and manufactured to meet or exceed the accuracy and repeatability requirements of ISO 6789: 1992 (+/- 6% of setting).
  • All IFR models are "impact free" when the cam resets. The IFR torque screwdriver torques in the CW direction only.
  • IFR cams can be special ordered to torque in the CCW direction.
  • The "Down Ramp" design limits the torque applied to the assembly by disengaging the clutch upon reaching the preset torque value.
  • Various models that range from 3 ozf.in to 120 lbf.in.
  • Thrust bearings insure that the torque setting is independent of any end load applied by the operator.
  • Four different colored lightweight aluminum handles allowing color coding of specific torque values in production areas.
  • Can be clean room modified upon request.
  • ESD compliant IEC 61340-5-1:1998 (except the IFR-TLS 1360* model)

* IFR-TLS can be modified to be ESD compliant. It needs to be requested when ordering the screwdriver
