The convertible MFW pick-up for surface roughness and waviness measurements stands out for its large measuring range (± 250 µm/± .00984 in), high resolution (100,000-200,000 : 1), and low linearity deviation (< 1%). Double length tracing arms enlarge the measuring range to ± 500 µm (± .0197 in). The simple tracing arm interchange ensures a particularly wide field of application. The rugged, rigid design avoids natural vibration.
In combination with the PGK 20 and PGK 120 drive units, the MFW pick-up can be used as skidless or skidded pick-up. In combination with the PGK 120, the tracing directions can be varied. See the descriptions from page 7-38 on.
When using the MFW-250 in combination with the PGK 20 drive unit and the Perthometer S2 or Perthometer Concept, the advantages such as the motor-driven height adjustment for lowering and lifting the pick-up automatically can be fully used.
