On the one hand, this combined Perthometer Concept measuring station offers the possibility to measure roughness and contour of a workpiece on a single measuring station. On the other hand, the conversion of drive units in case of a workpiece change is not necessary. The PGK 20 drive unit for roughness measurements and the PCV 200 drive unit for contour measurements are appropriately arranged on the measuring stand one behind the other. The need to have the corresponding stylus tips of the drive units in the same X-position when measurement starts has been taken into account. The modular system of the Perthometer Concept allows a roughness measuring station to be converted into a roughness and contour measuring station (or vice versa) at any time. The optional PROFILE ANALYSIS software offers the comprehensive and individual evaluation of measured roughness or contour profiles.
