BF 1 - Bore Fixture Assembly |
The
tooling is designed to ensure that the measurement probe is in the exact
position and orientation without any operator technique. Probe Protection
is performed during insertion/removal into the bore area The modular design
enables fast and easy setups for measuring surface finish in a production
type environment.

-
Cable
strain relief insures long life.
-
Handle
completely encapsulates the drive unit, providing total protection
to this critical component.
-
Heavy
duty tooling mount has a common mounting pattern with oversize mounting
screws.
-
Automatic
probe protection means the probe is only exposed during the measurement
cycle.
-
Components
are standardized except for those specific to the application. This
allows for quick delivery and easy repairs.
- Calibration
stand, included with the system, provides for convenient storage and
one step calibration.
- Wide
range of applications. Tooling can be designed to measure openings from
14mm through 150mm in diameter with an adjustable measurement depth
range of 10mm through 75mm.
- Non-marring
materials have been carefully selected to insure that critical surfaces
will not be damaged.
- Shock-mount
protection of drive unit and measurement probe.
