Trimos Tool Presetter Series II

Fowler's improved Tool Presetter Series II features high resolution 0.00005"/.001mm and Direct RS232C output. New functions include min/max/tir, tolerance limits and preset recall.

Construction
Cast iron base and steel column with hardened, ground stainless steel guideways. Counter-balanced measuring carriage includes a horizontal arm for measuring in X-coordinate. Sylvac measuring system used for both X and Z coordinates.

Knurled knobs for displacement of carriage activating a friction measuring pressure. Displacement of the measuring arm by a sliding movement. Measuring pressure set through a tension spring. Tool carrying spindle unit simulates ISO 50 taper mounting. Fixing device for one position. Locking of spindle at any point of rotation. Transport handles. Instrument may be fixed to a bench. Column adjustable for increased capacity.

#54-188-601 Features
Handwheel for vertical and horizontal displacement. Two handwheels embody a preload ring to set a constant measuring pressure in either direction. Includes a friction slide and fine adjustment screw. Tool carrying spindle unit simulates ISO 50 taper mounting. 12 divisions rotating at 30° with fixing device. Spindle locks at any point of rotation.Vacuum retaining of tools.
