Measure Crimp Height and Diameter with One Gage
 
 		 Measure both height and crimp diameter of one inch aerosol cans at same time. 

Speed inspection and keep up with production by doing two steps in one. 

Available with mechanical or electronic indicators. 

Minimize operator influence. 

Gage has spring-loaded contact points for self-centering and to "lock in" on aerosol can for accurate positioning when measuring. 

Gage comes with an I.D. setting master to set the crimp diameter portion of the gage. 

Gage is portable or may be clamped into a fixture for a stationary measurement. 

Mechanical model may be retrofitted with electronic indicators for SPC.

272 Series - Land and Groove Gun Barrel Gages

The Dyer Company's 272 Series Land and Groove Gun Barrel Diameter Gages provide greater contact point measuring travel, a larger range of gage application, higher accuracy, and better measurement repeatability and reproducibility (Gage R & R), at a substantially lower cost, than that available in any other system. 

Designed for both rifles and handguns of .22 to .45 caliber, the 272 Series Non-Tipping Comparative Gages are available to measure barrel lengths up to 31.50" (800 mm). The increased contact point measuring travel - between 0.004" and 0.024" (0.I mm and 0.6 mm) - allows use of the same nose guide to measure both lands and grooves, providing a greater range of gage application, and consequent cost savings, than that available in other systems. The 272 Series Gages measure land and groove manufacturing and wear diameter differences the entire length of the barrel with accuracies of <0.0004" (<0.01 mm). An innovative transfer tube design also allows for measurement of barrel twist. 

A unique interchangeable component system increases the range of gage application and further reduces overall gage equipment costs. Special custom sizing is available for odd number of grooves, for higher precision weapons, and for special rifled barrels.
