Gear GaugesInternal gear gauges are used for measuring pitch diameters and the dimension between balls (Mi). The gauges are depending on size alike the split-ball probe system (Link) and the plunger probe system (Link). The accessories for these gauges e.g. right angle attachment, floating holder etc. can also be used. Technical data:
External gear gauges are used for measuring pitch diameters and the size over the balls (Ma). The gauges are made of an aluminium ring with an adjustable ball anvil (during the measuring operation the ball anvil is fixed) and a movable ball plunger which transfers the measuring movement directly to a dial gauge. For exact measurements the gauge can be mounted in a checking stand. Technical data:
