Chamfer
gauges
Internal
taper gauges measure directly and exactly the major diameter of internal
tapers or tapered slots. Examples for application: Measuring of the major
diameter of rivet seats, centre bores, cone holes etc. as well as the
chamfering of slots. The size can be read directly on the special dial
indicator.
Technical
data:
- Operative
range: Internal taper Ø 0,5 mm to Ø 127 mm
- Taper
gauge angle: 60° / 90° / 127°
- Graduation
of the dial gauge 0,01 mm
- Measuring
range: 19,5 mm (60°-gauge 11,5 mm)
- Taper
gauge made of hardened steel
- Special
design on request
- Calibration:
zero-set at the factory or via setting master
External
taper gauges:
The
measuring principle is comparable with the internal taper gauge. Instead
of a taper gauge it is checked by a tapered inner cone. The minor diameter
of a chamfered shaft is measured.
Technical
data:
- Operative
range: External taper Ø 0,5 mm to Ø 127 mm
- Inner
cone angle: 60° / 90° / 127°
- Dial
graduation of the dial gauge 0,01 mm
- Measuring
range: 19,5 mm (60°-gauge 11,5 mm)
- Inner
cone made of hardened steel
- Special
design on request
- Calibration:
zero-set at the factory or via setting master
Chamfer gauges are used for measuring of 45° chamfers on rectangular
or cylindrical work-pieces. The size of a 45° chamfer is directly
indicated on the special dial gauge. Chamfers with other angles or radii
can be determined by a comparison measurement or by conversion.
Technical data:
- Types:
KT for rectangular work-pieces (slots from slot width 16 mm)
- KT-B
for cylindrical work-pieces (bores > Ø 28 mm)
- Measuring
range: Chamfers from 0 to 7 mm
- Radii
from 1 to 9,5 mm
- Calibration
by setting master
- Special
design on request
