This high hardness, M42 blade with an 8% cobalt cuttingedge offers less aggressive tooth action that resistsstrippage on smaller cross sections but still retains itshardness and abrasion resistance when cutting high alloy,heat-treated or stainless steels.

EXCEL PLUS

The latest positive rake tooth geometry is incorporated intoour EXCEL PLUS™ design. Constant improvements in toothface angles, as well as back angles, has resulted in fastercutting rates, while still retaining the tooth strengthnecessary to combat strippage, usually caused by over-feeding of the band saw blade. The M42 high speed steelcutting edge (67-69 RC) joined to a tough, spring temperedbacking is a good choice for cutting the toughest, hardestand most abrasive materials encountered today. Positivedesign is most effective when cutting solids and othermaterials when tooth strippage is not a common occurrence.
