Contech manufactures microprocessor-based systems that are used in the "non-destructive" testing of Oil Country Tubular Goods. Proprietary hardware and "in-house" software programming are joined to provide five individually unique testing systems that are used in oil and gas exploration worldwide.

They also manufacture a thread protector which is installed on Oil Country Tubular Goods to ensure thread integrity during transportation. The patented, non-ferrous latching mechanism provides quick installation and removal of the protector in addition to extending crew safety.
