Buttress
Gauges
1211
Gauge Name: Buttress Run-out Gauge
Thread Type: Buttress Casing
Size Range: All External Threads 4 ½" & Larger
Dial Type: 0-15-0, Balanced
Graduation: 0.0005"
Dial Travel: 1/8"
Anvil Position: The body of this gauge is designed
to remain parallel with the threads on the pipe
while in use. It utilizes two tungsten carbide contacts
that fit in the threads of the pipe to make a more
steady and solid fit of the gauge into the pipe
thread.
.
Description: The 1211 Buttress Run-Out Gauge is
used to check the threading tool run-out on external
API Buttress Casing thread. The body is stabilized
in the thread grooves through the two specially
designed Tungsten Carbide contacts, allowing the
measuring point to record a true run-out reading
of the thread root near the triangle marking.
1211-A
Gauge Type: Buttress Run-out Gauge
Thread Type: Buttress Tubing (0-45 Degree)
Size Range: All External Threads 4 ½" & Larger
Dial Type: 0-15-0, Balanced
Graduation: 0.0005"
Dial Travel: 1/8"
Anvil Position: The body of this gauge is designed
to remain parallel with the threads on the pipe
while in use. It utilizes four tungsten carbide
contacts that engage the thread grooves to make
a more steady and solid fit of the gauge into the
pipe thread.
Description: The 1211-A Buttress Run-Out Gauge is
designed to determine threading tool run-out on
Improved Buttress Tubing (0-45 Degree). It is stabilized
in the thread by a specially designed body equipped
with three .036 Diameter Tungsten Carbide contacts.
While in use, the measuring point can then remain
in the root of the thread for an accurate run-out
reading.
1211M
Gauge Name: Buttress Run-out Gauge, Metric
Thread Type: Buttress Casing
Size Range: All External Threads 114mm & Larger
Dial Type: 0~50~0, Balanced Dial w/ Revolution Counting
Hand
Graduation: 0.01mm
Dial Travel: 3mm
Anvil Position: The body of this gauge is designed
to remain parallel with the threads on the pipe
while in use. It utilizes two tungsten carbide contacts
that fit in the threads of the pipe to make a more
steady and solid fit of the gauge into the pipe
thread.
.
Description: The 1211M Buttress Run-Out Gauge is
used to check the threading tool run-out on external
API Buttress Casing thread. The body is stabilized
in the thread grooves through the two specially
designed Tungsten Carbide contacts, allowing the
measuring point to record a true run-out reading
of the thread root near the triangle marking.
1211-A/M
Gauge Type: Buttress Run-out Gauge, Metric
Thread Type: Buttress Tubing (0-45 Degree)
Size Range: All External Threads 114mm & Larger
Dial Type: 0~50~0, Balanced Dial w/ Revolution Counting
Hand
Graduation: 0.01mm
Dial Travel: 3mm
Anvil Position: The body of this gauge is designed
to remain parallel with the threads on the pipe
while in use. It utilizes four tungsten carbide
contacts that engage the thread grooves to make
a more steady and solid fit of the gauge into the
pipe thread.
.
Description: The 1211-A/M Buttress Run-Out Gauge
is designed to determine threading tool run-out
on Improved Buttress Tubing (0-45 Degree). It is
stabilized in the thread by a specially designed
body equipped with three .036 Diameter Tungsten
Carbide contacts. While in use, the measuring point
can then remain in the root of the thread for an
accurate run-out reading
5886CM
Gauge Type: Height Gauge, Metric
Thread Form: API Buttress Casing
Size Range: External and Internal Thread Diameters
from 114mm to 339mm
Dial Type: 0~50~0, Balanced w/ Revolution Counting
Hand
Graduation: 0.01 mm
Dial Travel: 3 mm minimum
Anvil: Hardened steel, "V" cross section, Dial Face
perpendicular to thread axis. A special feature
specifically for Buttress Casing, is that the measuring
contact is located closer to the back of the anvil.
This allows the user to record height readings closer
to the "black thread" area while always resting
on perfectly formed threads.
Description: The 5886CM is an External Thread Height
Gauge used on External and Internal API Buttress
Casing threads ranging from 114mm to 339mm. By first
"zeroing" your height gauge on the 1233-A setting
standard, the product error is read on the dial.
The measurement taken then indicates the deviation
from the API Nominal, not the actual thread height.
This gauge also features a Revolution counting hand
on the indicator and is equipped with a Tungsten
Carbide Ball Point.
5886BM
Gauge Type: Metric Height Gauge, Metric
Thread Form: Improved Buttress Tubing
Size Range: External and Internal Threads in sizes
of 89mm to 393mm
Dial Type: 0~50~0, Balanced w/ Revolution Counting
Hand
Graduation: 0.01mm
Dial Travel: 3mm minimum
Anvil: Hardened steel, 60 degree V cross section,
Dial Face perpendicular to thread axis. The anvil
on the 5886BM is specially designed for the measuring
of Improved Buttress Tubing ( 0-45 Degree Flank
Angles). This special design utilizes a locator
pin and an indented anvil to allow the 36 Degree
Cone Point to rest perfectly at the root of the
thread in order to get the most accurate reading.
Description: The 5886BM is used only on the external
Improved Buttress Tubing threads. By first "zeroing"
your height gauge on the 1231-E setting standard,
the product thread height error is read on the dial.
The measurement taken then indicates the deviation
from the nominal, not the actual thread height.
This gauge also features a Revolution counting hand
on the indicator.
5886-MB-16
Gauge Type: Height Gauge, Metric
Thread Form: API Buttress Casing
Size Range: External and Internal Thread Diameters
from 406mm to 508mm.
Dial Type: 0~50~0, Balanced w/ Revolution Counting
Hand
Graduation: 0.01mm
Dial Travel: 3mm minimum
Anvil: Hardened steel, "V" cross section, specially
designed to keep the measuring axis perpendicular
to the pipe axis, Dial Face perpendicular to thread
axis
Description: The 5886-MB-16 is an External Thread
Height Gauge used only on External and Internal
API Buttress Casing threads ranging from 114mm to
339mm By first "zeroing" your height gauge on the
1233-SB-16 setting standard, the product error is
read on the dial. The measurement taken then indicates
the deviation from the API Nominal, not the actual
thread height. This gauge also features a Revolution
counting hand on the indicator and is equipped with
a 1.82mm diameter Ball Point.
5886-GM
Gauge Type: Ring Groove Height Gauge, Metric
Thread Form: Ring Grooves on Couplings
Dial Type: 0~10~0, Balanced w/ Revolution Counting
Hand
Graduation: .01mm
Dial Travel: 3mm minimum
Anvil: Hardened steel, "V" cross section, specially
designed to keep the measuring axis perpendicular
to the pipe axis, Dial Face perpendicular to thread
axis
Description: This 5886-GM is used to record a measurement
of groove eccentricity. It is specially equipped
with cylindrical contact point, which enables a
firm contact with the groove. The measurement shown
indicates the actual thread height relative to the
bottom of the groove. A measurement can be made
either by rotating the coupling while measuring
or by obtaining several different readings.
