4486-D
Gauge Type: Pit Depth Gauge

Description: The 4486-D is used to measure pits and scratches that appear on the surface of pipe and is normally equipped with a 40 Degree Cone Point. Calibration of UST notches can also be achieved by substituting the normal cone point with the SP 12015 or the DP 12012. 

SP 12015/Swivel Point:  Specially designed contact for calibration of ultrasonic test grooves.  Full 360° rotation allows for easy depth check on longitudinal and tangential notches.  Used with #4486-D.


4486-A

Description: The 4486-A is used to measure indentations left in the pipe surface from the rolling and straightening processes. This gauge is normally equipped with a 40 Degree Cone Point but will accept standard Tungsten Carbide contact points.

Description: The 4486-F Pit Depth Gauge is used to measure the depth of relief forms in flat rolled stock. This gauge is normally equipped with a 40 Degree Cone Point but will accept standard Tungsten Carbide contact points.
